The Story of the Backorder

The number of emails we get a day asking when the All Mountian Post will be back in stock are…well, quite a few.  We are very sorry for the delays, but know that we are working hard to assure that these delays never happen again.

PCC started a few years ago when two friends came together with an idea for a product that presented an alternative to the current offerings.  Hours spent in a small shop behind my house brought our first few posts to market.  The response was overwhelming.  We began making the second batch of posts in the evenings after work and on the weekends.  The fact was, we still had (and still have) our day jobs.  It soon became evident that we couldn’t continue to make all the posts ourselves as the demand was too high. 

As our inventory dwindled in June, we finalized plans with a manufacturing partner to make a large portion of the parts.  The search for a shop that would maintain the quality level we required proved to be a difficult one, but we refuse to make compromises in quality.  To that end, we expect our first run of parts to arrive by the end of August.  With our new partner, we should finally put behind us these pesky backorders and continue to offer one of the best adjustable height seatposts on the planet.
